Wine Folly: Strong presence of black berry, has a an almost sour scent but in a good way. I could be tricking myself here but I also detected lavendar. Has a very warm mouth feel almost like liquor, woody flavors as well.
Review: I am honestly not sure what my roommate's mom was thinking with entrusting us with a magnum like this. We drunkenly attempted to open after a date party the night before, and ended up ruining the cork. Still, the wine was salvaged and enjoyed. This is a great bottle of wine. Decently dry but the fruit flavors are quite strong. There were also some herbal elements going on. The smell is pretty crazy as it is so strong. I'm glad we have this bottle as it will be fun to pair with other things this week.
